First of all, I'm glad to hear that Lauren is doing well.
It's always a relief to know that things are going well.

Well, this last week was transfers. I'm here in Weslaco
still, and will be at least until April 22 (because
Elder Brown goes home at the end of this transfer,
and President doesn't like white-washing areas). I love
this area, and don't think I'll ever want to leave.

I play the organ every week for the English ward, which
is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I'm not able to sit by
our investigators because of it, but I get to be with
them the 2nd and 3rd hours.

Well, the biggest news this week is that Nora and Ovidio
got married yesterday! Right after the wedding, Nora and
her son Edgar were baptized.

What a blessing it is to take part in this work.

We're still working with several other investigators. It's
such a blessing to be able to find people who are preparing
to receiving the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We're continuing to work with the Lozano family - their
oldest daughters came to church again this last week.
They all certainly seem to enjoy us coming by. One of
these weeks we'll get Don at church as well. It's hard
to know how much to push for him to come, versus just
being patient.

Life is definitely crazy as a missionary, I love it,
but sometimes it's incredibly hard. However, the Lord
watches over us and blesses us as we put our trust in Him.

I hope this letter finds you all well. Please know that I
am praying for you all.

Con amor,
Elder Meservy
