Monday, March 9, 2009

Well, on Tuesday I hit my 6 month mark! How the time has
flown by! Well, looking backward at time it's gone quick.

On Saturday we had a baptismal service for Brittany and
Bridgett Lozano. I had the opportunity to baptize Brittany,
and my companion baptized Bridgett. It was, as always, a
very powerful experience to stand in the water representing
the Lord Himself. How remarkable that we have the
priesthood power again on the earth! On Sunday we had
their confirmations. It's exciting to see these people making
those important steps in their lives. How blessed we are to
have a knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ!

So, apparently a lot of people are pregnant. What in the
world! That's crazy! Congratulations to all! I'm going to
have so many new nephews and nieces to meet! That's
definitely exciting to hear.

Well, we are now in the process of finding new investigators
to teach. We've spent a lot of time tracting. Nothing like
tracting in hot and humid weather. It's exhausting, but
it's been really good.

So, this week is transfers, and Elder Brown is going home!
I'll definitely miss him. We've really become good friends,
and it will be hard to have him go.

Well, I am so grateful for all of the love and support that you
all give me. It's been a remarkable growing experience for me
thus far here on the mission. I hope this email finds you all
well. You're all in my prayers.

I love you all.

Con amor,
Elder Meservy
