Monday, July 20th

Well, I bet you're all anxious to find out where Elder Meservy
is now...

Ready? I'm in Weslaco. Still. I'm excited to be here another
transfer. I was almost positive that I would be leaving this
transfer...I guess not. I'm still with Elder Clarke. We're excited
to be able to work together again another transfer.

Well, we're working with some really great families. One came
to church yesterday. Well, the father did, the others were down
in Mexico. They say that they'll be there this next week. They
have baptismal dates for the 22nd of August. I'm so excited
for them!

This last week we had to drive the other elders to a doctor's
appointment in Brownsville. We were right next to the ocean,
and right next to the border of US and Mexico. It was crazy.
We went and got a hundred pound bail of ties on the first
street after you get into the US. It was great to be that close.
It's only about a 45 minute drive from here to the ocean, and
only like 5 minutes from here to the border of the US and
Mexico.

Well, I'm learning a lot, and have really learned and grown so
much already.

Other than that, not too much is new.

My address is still
608 E. Sugarcane Rd. D
Weslaco, TX 78596

I love you all.

Elder John H. Meservy
