Hello family and friends!
Another marvelous week from Weslaco.
I've been working my tail off this week, as always... It just is a lot
hotter this week than it sometimes is...rather, than it was.
It's always hard to know what to write in this letter home,
because it feels as though it's the same old thing day in and
day out for me. Just new people, I guess.
Last night, we had a lesson with Martha's son. It was a really
great lesson, and he's excited to learn more. He broke down and
even started crying. He's trying to do what's right, and I think
he realizes that we're bringing the truth. Martha's daughter
came to church yesterday as well, which was awesome.
The Fourth of July here was different than back home...that's
for sure, but it was still good. We got invited to eat with the ward
mission leader from the Spanish ward, and then we went over to
a family from the English ward's home.
I'm going to start working on a tape to send home here soon...so,
hopefully that willl make it there this week. It probably won't be
very exciting, but that's alright.
Well, I love you all dearly, and keep you in my prayers.
Love,
Elder Meservy
