Monday, April 17th

Hello my family and friends!

This week was a good week for us. The last few weeks in district
meeting, we've noticed the number of contacts to new
investigators has been almost exactly 10%. Well, the numbers
from this week confirm that. We had 101 contacts, with 10
new investigators. It was a great week. I feel I have made a lot
of progress personally with the things that I am working on.

Elder Clarke and I have been finding a lot of people excited to
listen to the gospel. It's definitely been a better week than last.

I feel like this transfer I've had to learn a lot of patience. A
whole lot of things
going on, and I can't do anything about
any of them... I guess that's life. I just have to deal with other
people's decisions, and let them do things on their own time.

Well, I'm learning a lot as I've been studying through the
Book of Mormon
again. It's amazing when scriptures stick out
to you in a way they never had before. The gospel is so
simple, yet so deep. I love learning about the scriptures, and
just wish the missionary library included more books :)

Well, I love you all, I keep you in my prayers.

Love,
Elder John H. Meservy
