Hello family and friends,
This week has been a decent week for me.
I'm jealous that you all got to see the temple dedication. That
would be such a great thing to watch and participate in again.
There really is a peace in the temple that you find no where
else in the world.
It sounds as though things are busy at home...as always, I
guess. There never was much of a slow moment at home.
Congratulations mom and dad on your 37th anniversary. I
have often reflected on the mission about how lucky I am to
have been raised by a mother and father who love each
other, and their children.
This last week we had 103 contacts, and 10 new investigators.
Probably the best part about this week is that we had 7
investigators at church. We found a great family that
missionaries had taught a long time ago, but for one reason
or another had been put back in the area book. Well, we
stopped by again, and they were excited to see us, and they
came to church.
Well, this week is transfers again...Odds are I'm gone, but I've
been surprised before, so we'll see what this week brings.
I have been studying a lot out of Abraham 4 and 5 lately, and
have really learned a lot. I love all the hidden treasures in
the scriptures, and can't wait to be able to return to the
temple. There really is nothing like it in all the world.
Well, I love you all dearly, and am grateful for each and
every one of you.
Love,
Elder John H. Meservy
